Subject Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr S. Taimalelagi.
Students will learn basic greetings and talking about their family and hobbies. There is an emphasis on cultural understanding. Students will participate in many events across languages and explore the culture of the language they study.

If we consider the student has a strong prior knowledge, it is possible for students to jump up a year or to be entered straight at NCEA level 1. This needs to be discussed with the teacher, Dean and Head of Learning Area.
