Level 3 Mathematics with Statistics Internal
Subject Description
Teacher in Charge:
This course consists of 3 internally assessed Statistics standards:
- Bivariate data
- Time series data
- Statistical inference
As well as 2 internally assessed Mathematics standards:
- Linear programming
- Simultaneous Equations
The statistics standards involve analysing real world data and researching contexts to draw conclusions.
Recommended Prior Learning
Recommended prior learning - Merit in Level 2 Inference.
Exemptions can be made for students who do not meet the recommendation. This must be discussed with your maths teacher and the HOLA Mathematics.
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
There will be the option to use workbooks for some topics. These will be available for purchase through school.
Credit Information
You will be assessed in this course through all or a selection of the standards listed below.
This course is eligible for subject endorsement.
This course is approved for University Entrance.
