Level 3 Physics

The Year 13 Physics course is a follow on course from Year 12 and provides students with a greater depth of the Year 12 content areas of Mechanics, Waves, Atomic and Nuclear Physics, Electricity and Electromagnetism.
Recommended Prior Learning
Require a minimum of 14 credits from Physics Level 2 which must include one external from either AS 2.3 or AS 2.5.
You may *not* take this course *and* Level 3 General Science.
This course is eligible for subject endorsement.
This course is approved for University Entrance.
Total Credits Available: 20 credits.
Externally Assessed Credits: 16 credits.
Internally Assessed Credits: 4 credits.

Only students engaged in learning and achievement derived from Te Marautanga o Aotearoa are eligible to be awarded these subjects as part of the requirement for 14 credits in each of three subjects.
