Level 3 Sports Performance
This course is designed for students who have an interest Coaching, Training and building confidence in the Outdoors. Students will attain credits in Level 3 Physical Education through Unit Standards and Achievement standards. Learners will gain knowledge in Injury prevention and Risks management. You will further enhance your Leadership and Self Management skills by learning to develop and conduct Coaching sessions with beginner level athletes. In addition, you are required to to participate in a range of outdoor training and physical activities.

Only students engaged in learning and achievement derived from Te Marautanga o Aotearoa are eligible to be awarded these subjects as part of the requirement for 14 credits in each of three subjects.
All subject selections are provisional only and are subject to:

and the final decision is at the discretion of the Head of Learning Area for that subject.
