Year 13 Transition

Subject Description

All Year 13 students have one lesson per week of Transition education. You don't need to select it as an Option as Transition is a compulsory part of your school programme.
The Year 13 Transition programme is designed to prepare students for their transition through school to adult life. It provides the skills, attitudes and knowledge to tackle life beyond school.
Students participate in a wide range of options including:
- Finance, legal issues and flatting
- Tertiary planning
- Future pathways

Recommended Prior Learning

All subject selections are provisional only and are subject to:

  • meeting any course entry requirements
  • minimum class sizes
  • the availability of teaching staff

and the final decision is at the discretion of the Head of Learning Area for that subject.
