As well as faith formation and knowledge, the Religious Education programme contributes to the development of skills which assist students in all areas of school life and for the future e.g. reading comprehension, written expression, language development, research and development skills and decision making.
Topics in Religious Studies at this level range from issues such as reverence for life, morality and values, to looking closely at the origins and meaning of the Gospel.
This is a compulsory course. Completion of Year 10 Religious Studies is recommended.
This course is eligible for subject endorsement.
