Subject Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr M. Cotsilinis

This course is designed to offer students opportunities to develop their understanding, investigating, communicating, participating and contributing science in their everyday life. The focus for this course will be topics that are relevant to activities and items used every day. Assessment will be built into these topics and will include skills in researching, practical skills and experimenting.

The list of topics studied and assessed will be chosen from the list below by the students and teacher in charge. Although there is a total of 44 credits shown below, you will be offered between 14-18 credits depending on the combination of assessments agreed to.


Recommended Prior Learning

You do not need be at Level 5 of the curriculum, but final entry is at the discretion of the HoD or the Teacher in Charge.

You may *not* take this course *and* Level 1 Senior Science.
