Recommended Prior Learning

Students must have prior knowledge or studied at least one year of Samoan at school. (Curriculum level 4 expected)


This course is working towards NCEA level 1. Students will consolidate their knowledge about the culture and the language to be able to communicate in Samoan related to everyday contexts.

Assessment Information

Student have the opportunity to gain 20 credits. There two internal assessments and two externals.
Most of the assessment have a cultural knowledge required about Fa a Samoa. We will explore this in class.
