- Currently all Universities require students to have the NZQA University Entrance qualification, but on its own it is not sufficient for entry to some university courses. In addition, some universities now operate a Guaranteed Entry Score system. You will need to check the individual degree programme you are interested in so that you have good information about what you will need to achieve.
